Overview
Pave helps students and job seekers in Rwanda understand what suits them, explore possible careers, and connect with people already working in those fields.
Assessment is the start, not the product. A score should not pretend to decide someone's future. The missing piece is experiencing enough of a career to choose: a short realistic scenario of the work, then a conversation with a Rwandan who actually does that job.
From there, match the skills you already have to real opportunities, see what gaps stand in the way, and get a path you can act on before years of tuition lock you in.
Key Features
- Career assessment: Discover strengths, interests, and possible directions through a focused assessment.
- AI career matching: Find careers that fit your profile instead of browsing unrelated job titles.
- Skills-to-jobs matching: Connect what you already know to real opportunities in the Rwandan job market.
- Learning paths: Get recommendations when skill gaps stand between you and a role.
- Career library: Explore careers with salaries, requirements, and what the work involves.
- Mentor path: Book conversations with local professionals who can explain the work honestly.
- Personal dashboard: Save careers, track interests, and return to opportunities worth exploring.
- Mobile-first access: Use Pave on any device, including low-connectivity environments through an offline-ready experience.
Where the product is headed
Coursera is a library. Pave should be a GPS for school and career navigation: map the student's existing curriculum (REB, Cambridge, and similar) to a chosen path so today's class topics gain meaning for that future.
Also in scope as product direction, not as a claim of every surface already shipping:
- Reality-check "try this career" scenarios before years of tuition
- Rwanda-specific cost-to-enter and school recommendations per path
- Progress toward a chosen path tied to verified milestones, not vanity streaks
